The Avengers continue to fight creatures from another dimension and Iron Fist comes back with a revelation about who wanted to get the Eye of Agamotto. How will that revelation affect Doctor Strange?

This series is useless. Reading this issue, the only progress made over the last ones, was the revelation by Iron Fist at the end.  There was no real story here and the problems that plagued the previous New Avengers series continue here. The stories go on and on without any real resolution. Stuff that should be contained within one issue is dragged into four. All the characters seem able to do is say cool one-liners. Then, there is Bendis’ obsession with mystical stories that involve Doctor Strange with mystical artefacts. If this series doesn’t get better in the next issue, I’m dropping it.

Immonen is the best thing about this comic book. But looking a good art will not mask flaws and what I perceive as a lack of interests by the writer of this series. It feels like he patches up some story at the end of the day, after having spent all his time on other stuff. If he doesn’t care about this series, he should stop writing is and let another writer take care of things.
