Tony Stark on the run from the law, has to use an old armour to flee the country into Russia. But his mind keeps degrading meaning he has less skill to use the hardware he built in the first place. With Norman Osborn and his agents close on his trail, will Stark ever evade them and escape with all his secrets intact?

There comes a point where it becomes ridiculous to praise a comic book month after month. I’ve reached this point with this series. What it does right is built a tightly plotted epic around a small cast of characters, while revisiting the history of the hero and some of his challengers, such as Crimson Dynamo. The best part is that the reader can feel the desperation in Stark’s mind and continue to wonder how far will he go to protect his own mind from Norman Osborn.  Anyone who does not know what new super hero series to add to their monthly list should seriously consider this comic book.

Without Larroca, the story would not feel as larger than life. With Larroca’s participation, this series and the current story arc have the potential to dethrone previous highlights of Iron Man, like the armour wars and much of the run by David Michelinie and Bob Layton. Whether it’s technology, regular folks or super models, Larroca knows how to render them well.

Rating: 10/10
