Once again, we discover that one of the Flash's old rogues is even more twisted than we thought. In this case, we learn that the Reverse-Flash has 'retconned' his own history, killing anyone who got (gets? will get?) in his way. Not even his own family is safe. We learn how deadly his new powers are and have to wonder how the Flash can fight a villain who can change history at will.

It is a fun story that makes the Reverse-Flash more human while also making him more hateful. It also gives us juicy hints of what kind of story FLASHPOINT will be and what kind of threat the heroes will be facing. It is remarkable how well the tale is fleshed out, complete with tax brackets and references to "temporal disruptions of the early 21st century" which we can call guess, will come about due to Zoom.

The art is imaginative but certain panels clearly look rushed so the fine details are not clear. Kolins sometimes overuses his thick, black lines which makes many scenes-- even those set in the nice, shiney future, look rather dirty.
