The direct to home animated film reprise a popular one shot story from Action Comics #775 published in 2001 called “What’s So Funny About Truth,
Justice and the American Way?”

it asks the question of what would Superman do if faced with super heroes who took matters into their own end and tried to solved world problems that Superman has ignored. The stylization for this cartoon is different than other Warner Premiere animated films although it does have a slight resemblance to Superman All-Star.
