Last issue, Harley was enjoying a fun night out with her folks when a couple of super-criminals – the Sportsmaster and the Clokc King – decided to horn in by robbing the place. And now it’s Harley to the rescue, in good ol’ fashioned super-hero style. A quick dodge into a hidden space and – Presto Change-O! – she’s ready top battle crime wherever it may occur.

Of course, helping her in this is her pal Goat Boy (no, he’s not a super-hero, per se), and dear old Mom and Dad. After all, when their puddin’ is threatened, ya really think their gonna sit on their hands?

But the story doesn’t end there. There’s also Red Tool and his new friend from the future, whom he has convinced did NOT murder Batman (not yet, anyway). And there’s someone who seems to have a vendetta against Harley, but we’ll save the deets on that for next issue.

Meanwhile, Paul Dini’s story of Harley’s earlier days, when she was still a part of the Joker gang, continues. She’s got their new hideout all decked out; now she’s just gotta figure a way to pay for it.

I enjoyed this story arc more than most. I found it relatable, and Harley (for once) seemed to have a reasonable goal. I don’t object to a lack of reason; she is the notorious Harley Quinn. But there was less insanity, chaos for the sake of chaos.
