Overall, this series continuous to deliver on the gags in both noun and verb form. Pay attention to what seen in the background, or not seen, only implied, in the foreground. Let your imagination fill in the blanks, what we old farts once called “the theater of the mind.” I concede that your laugh-o-meter may or may not register, but such is the nature of humor: it’s subjective. I never busted a gut laughing, but then there are many I don’t find the least bit funny (David Sedaris, I’m looking in your direction).
John Timms artwork, still spot on. The current Rebirth schedule is grueling, and I’m VERY pleased that he continues to deliver, issue after issue.
Next issue appears to be Harley and Ivy’s trip to the Bahamas. It’s always an adolescent fantasy when those two get together. Your mileage may vary, but what are comic books, if not adolescent fantasies.
