Well I can hardly spell let alone pronounce the art team's names. They are superb though. Clean sharp lines, well drawn dynamic actions and brilliant beautifully rendered art making each panel jump off the pages. And a splash page early on to highlight their talents.

Hal Jordan is in a ring constructed plane in deep space in hot pursuit of the New Gods Highfather and Lightray. In the stress of the situation he hallucinates his dead father in the jet with him.

Basically we see what a badass and how strong Jordan's will is as his plane starts to lose the ring constructs integrity with the speed he is forced to travel.

Jordan gets High Father aboard but still has to outrace omega beams.
For an issue where a lot didn’t happen this was a very fast read thanks to the aforementioned art and story.

Rating: 7.5/10
