Mr. Nodell was born on November 15th, 1915. He entered the world of advertising after his comics work, and was a key member of the team that produced the Pillsbury Doughboy. Later in life, he entered the comics convention circuit, delighting fans with his warmth and stories of the Golden Age of American comics.
