The origin of the Keepers, the mysterious aliens that are able to wield the green will power energy of the Green Lantern Corps is revealed thanks to the Martian Manhunter. But will his help be enough to stop the Keepers from executing all of John Stewart’s party?

With Pasarin is back this issue. His work is as dynamic as ever. I really like how he draws the Martian Manhunter. It feels like the Martian Manhunter is more important and better featured in this comic book than in the Stormwatch series. Pasarin adds a lot of details to the pages he draws and everything moves dynamically.

I like how the story has moved along and the big reveal of the villains’ origins.  It’s actually an interesting concept. We haven’t heard of them before of course although they seem similar to the Manhunters. I don’t know how the Stormwatch and the Martian Manhunter will play out in future stories, but I really like the cameo. I also like seeing more of Stewart’s resolve and Gardner’s cunning. This issue was not as fast moving action-wise as previous ones, but the build up and characterization rounded off the series thus far.
