Barry Allen the Flash is pursued throughout Central City by the other Flashes who are controlled by Gorilla Grodd. Will Barry Allen succeed in severing Grodd’s control over his allies?

The highlight of this storyline has been the return of Wally West in the series showing why he, like one of his mentor from a long-lost reality (Max Mercury) is the Zen master of speed. I like how Wally West seems to be better at being the Flash than Barry Allen. I also like how each of the Flashes fight Barry and almost win easily. Yet, like all good super hero epic, Barry has found a way to free his allies and to defeat Grodd. So we are led to believe.

I really like Carnie Di Giandomenico’s work this issue. It works well even though he does not draw many repetitions of the Flash within one panel. There is feeling that the character is moving fast, regardless.

This issue is great fun.
