Oh my gosh the art in the issue is fantastic. Each panel explodes with action and detail. Even the “quiet” panels are dynamic.

Bruce is aware Tim is back and in jeopardy as he is rushed to a hospital after the events of last issue. Tim asks Bruce about Kate aka Batwoman as he knows she is on the older alternate bat version's of his radar. After brief interlude of Kate at lunch we see Tim reunite with the bat-family in the Batcave.

Tim, in order to protect her from his future self, locks Kate up on the Batcave. Just as older future Tim meets Alfred.

In some ways this whole story is absurd. Yet Tynion makes it palatable to loyal Batman comic readers. There are a few winks without breaking the fourth wall that reminds readers they are reading a comic.

Rating: 7.5/10
