Daredevil catches up with Mr. Fear hoping he will have the showdown he so desperately wishes. He wants to beat up Mr. Fear and force the latter to cure his wife of the madness he gave her. Will the man without fear convince fear itself?

Daredevil was played for a fool throughout this story and I like it. Mr. Fear really won this time and there isn’t much Daredevil can do to change that. I didn’t like how Brubaker wrapped up the story so fast though, after spending close to a year developing it. It did nothing more than take another shot at Daredevil and reinforce that he is every comic book writer’s punching bag. It seems that if Daredevil writer doesn’t wreck Daredevil’s life a bit, that he’s not worthy.

Well, Mr. Brubaker , you’ve earned your spot in the illustrious Daredevil’s writer pantheon.

Again, several artists with similar styles worked together to deliver this issue. It flows well enough that it only bothers one after multiple readings.

I like the fight scene which shows us Daredevil’s grace and style. The artists are also good at letting panels speak for themselves without any captions.
