Daredevil in Japan continues to look for the traitor in the midst of the Hand that wants to kill him and the rebellious Bakuto, but the layers of treachery are deep and one by one, every clue and witness is destroyed. Can Daredevil find the traitor before Bakuto pays the ultimate price?

I like this storyline even if it’s far away from regular Daredevil stories. I’m not a fan of ninja stories usually. There are excessively many ninjas running around and it seems that those from the Hand come in unlimited quantities. I still think that Daredevil is an idiot here, not seeing who is setting him up for failure when it strikes him in the face. But it seems that the storyline will be cut short so Daredevil can participate in another companywide crossover next month. Interruptions like these stop creative teams from creating memorable stories. It’s useless to continually interrupt several series at once in attempt to jump start their sales again with a larger story that does not even reflect on the regular stuff happening in the series, story wise.

Visually, although the artist is not the same, the colouring helps create the same mood of lush red blues that has pervaded this series since the new team took over. However, things may be a bit too dark in places. The mix of snow and blood looks great though.
