In his insightful spotlight panel on Thursday, iconic and prodigious artist Tim Bradstreet explained his ingress into the craft of illustration, his technique, and his history in comic book and film media.

Bradstreet spoke about not having formal art training and ways of honing one's artistic abilities. He talked about his experience working on over one hundred Punisher covers and being able to influence film adaptations of that character that he helped redefine. Tim spoke about his love of symbolism and how that adoration with subtext made Hellblazer covers a perfect fit for him. The conversation went on to illuminate his support of digital comics, and conversely his reluctance to illustrate digitally. He even picked out a favorite work of his, a black-and-white Criminal Macabre cover, adding that if he could work solely in b&w illustration he would at the drop of a hat.

After the dialogue with moderator Tom Racine, Bradstreet spoke a little about his future plans with his and actor/filmmaker Thomas Jane's Raw Studios.

Raw Studios is currently developing a crowd-sourced video game based on their Bad Planet comic book series. The developer is Texas crew Red Fly.

The studio is also releasing a Western film starring Jane, Jeremy Irons, and more.

Tim also alluded cryptically to working on a My Little Pony Punisher skull, for all the bronies.
