This issue of the Flash is the start of a new story arc Break-in at Belle Reve.

This comic opens with a nightmare by Wally West about his father Daniel West. Daniel West also happens to be a New52 reverse flash. Although the classic Reverse Flash Eobard Thawne is alluded to, it seems this story line is going to centre around West.

The Flash, perhaps as much or even more than any DC title has centred around family themes. Therefore it seems apt that part of DC universe rebirth run the spotlight moves to the West family. There are some key Flash family revelations within this issue, but not enough is given away to ruin the suspense. Rather questions that may be should have been answered in the new Rebirth's story arc are addressed leaving Williamson to continue the story without niggling concerns about how kid-flash can not know who the Flash is.

There is a lot of excitement and family drama crammed into the 21 pages of this comic, and as one has come to expect from a Flash title the artwork is kinetic without being too busy or messy.
Overall I would give this a 4 out of 5 rating.
