Once again you will be enthralled by magnificence of this story. Gaiman has weaved a tapestry that unfolds a new mystery & wonder each time you look at it. The way threads to characters origins have been intricately placed along the way really makes you smile. I can’t wait to find out the importance of Vaginia Dare!?! What is driving the inquisitor and what the treasure/weapon is!?! If only issue #3 was out tomorrow :(
The writing of the story fits the art like a glove! That’s how well these two go hand in hand. Kubert & Isanove have created a landscape that talks to you! You don’t just see the emotions you FEEL them. You get sucked into the settings and can smell the air, feel the breeze. It’s a beautiful thing when art can reflect a story so well. And trust me, when you turn the page you’re looking at a beautiful thing!
