Leisure Suit Larry is a point and click adventure series that started in the late 80s, this game is actually a remake of the first Leisure Suit Larry game and includes updated graphics, sound and an entirely mouse driven interface (the original game was text driven)

Point and click adventure games were extremely popular in the early 90's, with the game Mist, starting the genre. These games have you control your character through either a 3rd or 1st person perspective, collecting items and solving puzzles to move forward in the game. These types of games focus mainly on the story to be told, rather then complex gameplay.

In Leasure Suit Larry, you play as Larry Laffer, a 40'ish, Leasure Suit wearing loser who's goal is to lose his Virginity. Your quest involves you trying anything possible to achieve this.

As you progress though the game world, you'll pick up various item's, which are used to move along through the game. Unlike a lot of point and Click adventure games, the puzzles in this game seem logical and arent very hard to figure out when you think about them. Also, unlike other point and click games, you can die, this usually happens when you make a wrong choice or walk out into traffic.

Leisure Suit Larry can have you doubled over laughing at times, in fact, that's the games strongest point, it's humor. The only major negative to speak of is the money system, if you run out of money, you won't be able to progress through the game. It's always important to have multiple backup save's incase this happens. Graphically, you can't complain, for a game made in 1990, it holds up very well, with it's colorful and vibrant graphics. Sound, while MIDI's, are still very well done, you may even catch yourself humming along.

Let's do this!!!
For the 6 to 8 hour's I played Leisure Suit Larry, I had a great time, this is one of those games that's so good, it stands the test of time, providing as much fun now as it did back then. If you see it anywhere cheap, buy it.

NOTE: As this is a DOS game, Windows XP users will need a free program called DOSBox in order to run it.

Harmonix keeps delivering a new experience each time. This game is an absolute must have for Beatles fans and music lovers alike.
Review: Wii Sports Resort
The incredible 1:1 controls and enjoyable gameplay make this the best mini game collection on the console.
Splosion Man
A great and funny game that utilizes some of the hardest platforming stages imaginable.
Review: Halo Wars: Historic Battles
A great set of new maps for any die hard fan of the series but doesn't offer enough new content to make it a necessity.
Review: Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection
A great price point for a wealth of new and fun content.
Review: The Conduit
A unique control scheme can't save this bland and boring first-person shooter.
Review: Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood
A game that comes so close to being a good buy falls just short and feels like a massive tech demo.
Review: Bit. Trip Core
A new control scheme is welcomed to the franchise's great retro look and sound.
Review: LifeSigns: Hospital Affairs
The awkward pacing and long dialogue moments cause LifeSigns to feel weighed down and quite boring.

I'd Rather Meditate
Review: Rhythm Heaven
A great game with enough music and diversity to get into anyone's good books, as long as they are up for some practice.
Review: Pokemon Platinum
It creates a unique and engaging world to spend loads of time exploring, but remains too similar to past games in the series.
Review: Halo Wars
Getting past the awkward pacing and simplistic gameplay can lead to some intense and great fun with Halo Wars.
