Grumble a new digital horror comic book series.  It is the story of Ava Benson, a young woman who returns to her hometown, Beechwood, for her uncle, Avner Benson’s funeral.  In addition to reuniting with her dysfunctional family, Ava learns that an old enemy is terrorizing the town and murdering her family and friends.

Leroy Douresseaux wrote the story.  Diego Candia (www.diegocandia.com) penciled and inked it.  Jaymes Reed (www.digital-caps.com) lettered the pages.  Grumble is Copyright © 2013 Leroy Douresseaux.

Bob McLeod is the cover artist for Grumble #1 – providing pencils, inks, colors, and logo (with “Chapter One” from Jaymes Reed). The cover art recalls the style and atmosphere of the legendary EC Comics. McLeod, the co-creator of The New Mutants, has just published The Art of Bob McLeod, Volume 1.  For more information, please, go to www.bobmcleod.com
