Star Trek - Hidden Frontier - Enemy Unknown Part 1

Star Trek: Hidden Frontier (HF) is a long-running fan-made series, now in its seventh season (44 episodes produced), set in the Briar Patch, the wild region of space introduced in the film Star Trek: Insurrection.  The series focuses on the starship Excelsior, and its home base, Deep Space 12, as they fend off attacks from a powerful new alien race, the Grey, and mediate disputes between such races as the Tholians, Cardassians, Bajorans, the Son'a and the Breen.  This video series is produced by volunteers in Southern California; originally as Areakt Pictures for the first four seasons.  This association was later amended in favor of the cast and crew receiving credit under their own names.

Star Trek: Hidden Frontier premiered in 2000, an offshoot of the fan series Voyages of the USS Angeles (ANG), produced by the Star Trek fan club of that starship name in Southern California.  HF inherited the setting, Deep Space 12, and several of the characters from the Angeles series, but quickly went on to establish its own identity.  Two later HF episodes made use of footage originally shot for Angeles episodes that were never produced.

Just like we did for Amanda Hades we will present to you the ongoing chapters of this ambitious Star Trek fan project in the coming weeks.  The first couple seasons are a little rough around the edges.  Once we get into the third and fourth seasons you'll see vast improvements in effects, story quality, and acting.

About Long Posts and Accusations
Someone called the Movie master posted a very long post about the projects detailed above and made several accusations on individuals involved in the fan film highlighted above, and implied that The Comic Book Bin involved by association because we posted this article above. If his/her ego is as large as his/her post, we assume The Movie Master will come back soon to contemplate his/her masterpiece.

Let me just remind people of a few rules we hold dear at The Comic Book Bin. Personal attacks against ourselves, or third parties are not welcomed here. If you need to slander people, take it elsewhere. This is not the place for that.

If you're going to accuse us of legal impropriety, put your real name next to your claim because it's worthless and cowardice otherwise.

Do not try to shame us and claim that we support one side or another by covering a third party here. We are the members of the media, the press. We take no party. As the publisher, I don't care about your personal fights with others. Take it elsewhere and settle it there. This is no place to make vicious accusations on individuals, and divulge personal information such as their home address and personal emails contents. Since you're big on what's legal, just remember that revealing the personal address of a person in public, and contents from a personal communication, such as an email, can have legal consequences in some jurisdictions. And implying that if we don't agree with you/enact your suggestions that we therefore are supporting a third party, that's bogus hogwash.

If you have a legitimate legal concern, send it directly to the publisher of this site. Just remember that we follow the laws set by The Government of Canada, not industry lobby groups. In fact, industry "laws" are not laws at all and have no legal standing with us, or any legitimate court of law, in or outside of Canada.

Next, remember that the Comic Book Bin has a long tradition, editorially of not telling writers what to write and what to cover. Our writers are free to speak their minds and cover topics of their choice. Just because an article is posted here, it doesn't mean it's officially endorsed by the publishers of the site. Each writer's opinion is his/her own. As the publisher, I will not muzzle writers because of disgruntled ex buddies who think it's fair game to slander people covered in articles where many other people can see it.

Finally, check your grammar if you're gonna sound all self righteous and learn to get to the point.
