DC COMICS RUSHES SOLD-OUT DC UNIVERSE 0 BACK TO PRESS

With DC Universe 0 sold out at super speed on the same day it arrived in stores, DC Comics is rushing this red-hot issue back to press for a new, second printing.

The issue’s release coincided with a full-page article in The New York Daily News featuring quotes from DC Universe 0 writers Grant Morrison and Geoff Johns and art from Final Crisis illustrator J.G. Jones. After being picked up by the Associated Press, DC Universe 0 and the return of Barry Allen have been receiving national press attention, including articles in The New York Times, The Houston Chronicle and The Village Voice, with more coverage still to come. Additionally, DCU Executive Editor Dan DiDio spoke to Newsarama about the big reveal today, and the initial news break was picked up throughout the comic trade press.

The new printing of DC Universe 0 features an altered version of the original cover, with Green Lantern art by Ivan Reis on the left, Wonder Woman art by Aaron Lopresti on the right, and new Legion of Super-Heroes art by George Pérez in the center. It is scheduled to arrive in stores on May 28, the same date as Final Crisis #1.

DC UNIVERSE 0 Second Printing (MAR088191) has a Final Order Cutoff date of May 8 — the same date that FINAL CRISIS #1 (MAR080124) is on Final Order Cutoff.

Retailers may order this item by contacting their Diamond Customer Service Representative or DC Sales Representative, or by email at reorders@diamondcomics.com.

DC UNIVERSE 0 Second Printing (MAR088191) is scheduled to arrive in stores on May 28 with a cover price of $1.00 U.S.
