WORLD OF WARCRAFT® #1 GOES BACK TO PRESS FOR NEW, SECOND PRINTING FROM DC COMICS

After a quick sellout at DC Comics, the fantastic debut issue of the World of Warcraft® comic book is going back to press for a second printing.  Based on the world’s most popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game from Blizzard Entertainment®, the World of Warcraft #1 Second Printing will reprint the story by writer Walter Simonson and artists Ludo Lullabi and Sandra Hope.

“We’ve been absolutely blown away by the book’s writing and artwork,” said Chris Metzen, vice president of creative development at Blizzard Entertainment.  “From how quickly the first printing sold out, it’s clear that comics fans and World of Warcraft players are also liking what they’re seeing.”

World of Warcraft #1 Second Printing (OCT078514) will feature a black and white version of the cover by Jim Lee and is scheduled to arrive in stores on January 4.

To ensure delivery on January 4, retailers must confirm orders by Sunday, December 23. Please note that quantities will be limited and may sell out before December 23. This item will not be offered on Final Order Cutoff.

Retailers may place orders by contacting their Diamond Customer Service Representative or DC Sales Representative, or by email at reorders@diamondcomics.com.

Upcoming issues of World of Warcraft are available as follows:

WORLD OF WARCRAFT #2 (OCT070240) is available for advance reorder and is scheduled to arrive in stores on December 19.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT #3 (NOV070272) is solicited in the November Previews and is scheduled to arrive in stores on January 16.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT #4 (DEC070288) is solicited in the December Previews and is scheduled to arrive in stores on February 20.
