Hello!  My name is Christopher Moshier and I hail from the good ole United States of America.  I have come to the Comic Book Bin to share my deep appreciation for what has been donned the “Fan Film”.  To me a fan film is an amateur production tipping the hat to its source material.  It doesn’t necessarily have to be superheroes, but certainty that is a big part of it.  The subject is really a wide birth that can include; horror, sci-fi, action/adventure, comedy, and a mixture of what other genre you can think of.  Through my articles and interviews I promise you that the best will be spotlighted with you probably not even realizing half this entertainment is out there.  I literarily sit at my computer with a twelve pack of cold Labatt’s Blue (that would be Canadian Beer for you laymen) searching for the next gem.  It’s a tough job but someone has to do it!

I started writing about Fan Films in 2002 for now defunct site call Cool Collecting that closed a couple years later.  Then last year I found a site called Fanboy Theatre so I contacted them to start up me articles again.  They are a great site and I highly recommend them, but if you go there check the last time they updated.  A couple months ago I received an email from the Comic Book Bin on a review of one of my comics that had been posted.  After reading the review I poked around the site seeing they were recruiting writers so I thought, “what the hell!”  I shot Hervé an email with the rest as they say being history.  I have a lot more freedom here at the “BIN” so I imagine I’ll be around as long as they’ll have me.

For real life along with still working for “the man” I am also a writer at/and run a website for MC (Making Comics) Studios.  We are a group of writers, artists, colorists, ect .who do as our namesake suggests.  I also work with Mr. Allen Freeman over at his Fan-Atic Press working on his books or taking on the occasional paying job that he farms out.
