“Bites of Sin,” Part Two of Two
On the night of the volleyball tournament between the sorority, Epsilon Alpha Zeta Upsilon (EAZY) and its partner, Alpha Zeta Zeta, zombies invade the EAZY sorority house. Now, zombies have taken over The City, and humanity’s only hope are three EAZY girls: Jaime Schaeffer, Paige Patton, and Brittany Miller.
The girls barely escaped the last house that promised shelter. A flier sends them seeking refuge in what the flier claims is real safe house. When they arrived, the EAZY girls found their old buddy, muscular slasher Kurtis Kasey, and a U.S. military unit engaged fighting it out. Eventually all sides came under assault by other-dimensional monsters dressed in leather, vinyl, and bondage gear.
In Chaos Campus Sorority Girls vs. Zombies #8, Tess Raven, the demon that posses Paige’s body, transports Jaime, Brittany, and Kasey to another dimension where they have to fight for their lives. Getting Kasey on their side may save all the girls’ lives, but can the girls free Paige’s body of demonic possession?
THE LOWDOWN: The spoof of the Cenobites from Clive Barker’s story “The Hellbound Heart” and from the Hellraiser film franchise ends with this issue. As with the previous issue, artist Daniel Fitz strikes the right comic tone. I would be remiss if I failed to mention cover artist Quinton Bedwell. His clever cover designs and smooth painting style have gone a long way in setting the tone for series of late, and the cover for this issue is a winner.
POSSIBLE AUDIENCE: Fans of horror comedy will certainly want Chaos Campus Sorority Girls vs. Zombies.
