Chaos Campus Sorority Girls vs. Zombies #4 cover image

On the night of the volleyball tournament between sorority, Epsilon Alpha Zeta Upsilon (EAZY) and its partner Alpha Zeta Zeta, zombies invade the EAZY sorority house.  Three EAZY girls: Jaime Schaeffer, Paige Patton, and Brittany Miller are separated from their sorority sisters, but they prove to be resourceful young women.  In spite of their bickering, they work as a group and are very successful at survival.

As Chaos Campus Sorority Girls vs. Zombies #4 (“Gothic Makenover”) opens, the trio is on the run after the Grab-E-Mart convenience store debacle.  The girls take refuge in a dormitory where they play “fun with zombie.”  They aren’t the only humans in the dorm, and soon they meet a guy trippin’ on hamburgers.

With her quirky drawing style, artist Michele Buscalferri gives the ever-quirky comic horror comic book a surprising twist.  This time, the comic book series created by Approbation Comics publisher Bart A. Thompson is less about comical zombie apocalypse and more like a Kevin Smith movie – bawdy talk and outrageous and absurd situations.  I’ll enjoy seeing where Chaos Campus goes next.
