Superman brings Lois Lane to his Fortress of Solitude, finally confessing his secret identity to her-- and Lois refuses to believe him. This issue is a salute to all the old Silver Age comics where as Lois points out, she and Superman played all sorts of cruel tricks to uncover/conceal Superman's secret identity. Additionally, we get a grand tour of the Fortress with all the old wonders, like the inter-stellar zoo, depicted in new ways. The plot, with Lois wondering about Superman's sanity, feels a little forced but the creative team is clearly having loads of fun playing with the mindboggling contents of the Fortress. The art is a bit alienating though. The Lois drawn by Quitley doesn't look like any previous version of Lois and his version of the Fortress seems too clean and uncluttered. He could use more dynamic backgrounds.
