Professor Charles Xavier is trying to convince Exodus and his Acolytes to abandon their separatist ways with humanity and to merge their interests with that of other mutants as their numbers are so low that they cannot afford any divisions in their kind. Will Exodus and his Acolytes yield to Xavier’s demands?

I like how Xavier took out all the team without fighting them directly. This is what I expect from a good writer. He has to use the powers and skills of the characters logically and to make it work instead of relying on brute force to make his points. What I didn’t like was the little introduction to then doctrine and the members of the Acolytes. I never heard of them before and was confused about what their anger was about and what they wanted to accomplish. My last criticism is about the fact that still, more mutants, past the 200 that were supposed to have survived the power reversal of the Scarlet Witch exists. I don’t even want to know how those guys kept their powers.

Briones’ reminds me of an earlier Jim Lee but with better composition and better structure. Unlike other Lee clones like Benes, he actually understands what he’s drawing and his contribution to the comic book is more than just posing plastic looking character in large panels.
