Drew Maxwell's Atomic Fist Punch is still relatively new, which means it has yet to amass much of a back catalog of content, but what Maxwell does have on display at is unadulterated fun.

Atomic Fist Punch is an all-ages web comic about a brother and sister whose scientist father is kidnapped by one of his own creations. To combat the indestructible robots that have abducted their father and are wreaking havoc in a nearby city, the brother and sister construct atomic gauntlets that amplify the brother's punching power, hence Atomic Fist Punch.

While Maxwell's plot and humor are undeniably aimed at an audience much younger than myself, the comic's artwork is gorgeous. Think Tiny Titans with incredibly detailed and imaginative images. The action is raucous and frenetic, and, yes, the story is cute.

Atomic Fist Punch is definitely something worth checking out, especially if you've got little ones, but this web comic's fantastic artwork just might have you checking up on the young hero's adventures regularly as well.

Atomic Fist Punch is updated weekly and three chapters have currently been published on the aforementioned website.
