The heroes of the Ultimate Marvel Universe, under Thor’s power, figure out a way to cross the dimension to try to rescue Reed Richard from the Squadron Supreme. Elsewhere, Reed Richard has to fight against the clock to find a solution to contain all the extra-dimensional sludge he unleashed on Earth. But all the secrets he holds may be far more valuable to his captors than the ultimate salvation of Earth.

What appeared to be a simple fight between two super powered team is shaping into something else with some intrigue mixed in. This is good and I can’t wait to see how Nick Fury and his government have anything to do with the sludge that invaded the alternate Earth. However, my only worry is that none of these events will stick at the end of the series and that everyone is sent back to square one. Let’s hope this crossover won’t be one of those stories.

Land draws great characters and can even make Richard look young, while he makes older character look right. This is a great quality when characters differ. But of course, they all end up looking good anyway.

Rating: 7/10
