The Walking Dead Game Retail Release Announcement

Yesterday, Telltale games released a new trailer for the most recent episode in their Walking Dead series. Episode 3: Long Road Ahead was release late last month for XBLA, PSN and PC. The iOS version currently only has episodes one and two available.

Apart from that they also mentioned that episode four: Around Every Corner, written by screenwriter Gary Whitta, will be launching "very soon this October, followed by the finale in episode five: No Time Left." I know I definitely can't wait for next month now as I'm a huge fan of this game series and the third season of the Walking Dead TV series will be starting.

Probably the biggest piece of news though was the inclusion of a retail announcement for the series. Telltale Games states that "each episode, together as a five part series, will also be launching at retail later this year." That is very exciting for anyone without an internet connection (but then how are you reading this?). No news on a release date or price point. Since each episode alone is $5, my guess is the retail disc will run around $20.
