Review Marathon
Tom Taylor is in prison accused of multiple gruesome murders at the home of his father. In prison, guards attempt to kill him again, but things don’t go according to plan and one prison guard dies instead. What is really happening and is Tom suddenly seeing constructs of stories he says? I’ve been enjoying this series even if I’ve missed a few issues. It was hard to pick up on this one as I felt I may have missed one too many. But apparently I didn’t and this is how it was plotted. New developments were just shown at the beginning and I didn’t miss a beat. They were just that stranger than usual. Still this story and the angle of the sidekick journalist in jail is fun. The conspiracy is not over and I don’t know where it’s going, but I know I’ll continue to follow along. Gross, of course adds a lot of dimension to this story and reflects intriguing backgrounds and sets for the crazy adventures of the characters.
