Back on Earth, the Autobots must figure out which Decepticon that may have sold dangerous technology to their human ally Spike. But that discovery prompts Jazz to finally take matters into his own hands, although he’s been ordered to stay out of sight.

Like I wrote before, during the chaos storyline that will see the death of Optimus Prime, again, I only bother to read the issues that occur on Earth. The artwork about the stuff happening on Cybertron with Galvatron and Megatron just gets on my nerve. Also the story is really not that good. However, I’ve been quite impressed with the tale of the Earth-bound Autobots the last few months. Prowl is a favourite, so is Jazz. Using them so well in this story against Spike’ conspiracy is cool. This issue doesn’t disappoint. The characterization these characters are getting is incredible. I really like when we are shown how Prowl thinks and strategizes. A must read for Transformers’ fans.

Of course, without Cahill the story would not be as interesting I like his take on the Transformers with just enough human facials but well designed and updated robot modes. I’m not impressed with Jazz’ latest designs though, but I understand it’s probably tied to some toy and not a decision of the artist.
