Midway Games announced its cover athlete for the next installment of its popular NBA Ballers franchise today. Dwight Howard, of the Orlando Magic, will grace the cover of every copy of NBA Ballers: Chosen One , along with Al Horford, of the Atlanta Hawks. “Dwight Howard and Al Horford are the perfect choices for NBA Ballers: Chosen One, which allows players to live the life of an NBA Superstar,” said George Gomez, executive producer for Midway. “Dwight has already arrived as one of the best players in the NBA and looks to be a perennial All-Star, and Al is enjoying a fantastic rookie season after a stand-out collegiate career at Florida.”

The game itself fe atures over 65 of the NBA's superstar athletes, and will bring players closer to the action than ever before thanks, in part, to the new “action movie” style game cameras, which highlight every move. Midway is also promoting the franchise as the “graphical leader in the sports videogame industry”, so you can expect to see some very high quality graphics when playing Chosen One . NBA Ballers: Chosen One is currently slated for to release for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 some time this Spring.
