Erika Szabo is an Ontario born, Michigan based freelance writer. She has been reading comics since the age of nine when she picked up her first issue of ‘Bone’, and she hasn’t turned back since. She is an aspiring journalist and, after taking a long break from school, hopes to attend the Ryerson School of Journalism this fall. She has written for several websites and magazines including Antimusic.com, Destroythecyb.org, PopMatters.com, Culturevulture.net, The Compass online travel magazine, Collectors News magazine, and BlackFlash magazine. When she’s not writing nonfiction articles, she enjoys playing videogames (RPGs/Strategy RPGs preferably), listening to electronica, reading comics, watching anime, watching foreign/horror films, contour drawing, making music (she plays under the name Sweet Ride Caddy) eating sushi, and sleeping.
