Morgana Le Fay returns back to life and continues to attack Doctor Doom’s Latveria. The Dark Avengers continue to try and save him from the sorceress. But can they really prevail, when every time they kill her, she comes back from the past alive and well?

The store I go to ran out of Dark Avengers #2 for some reason, so I never got to see what the deal was on that issue. I haven’t heard of Marvel Comics issuing second prints. Pity, because with this issue, I’ve decided that this series would definitely stay on my pull list. Who knew reading about a bunch of villains masquerading as Avengers would be so fun. A while back Bendis introduced a subplot with Doctor Doom travelling to the past to make a deal with the sorceress Morgana Le Fay. It seems like Doom has broken part of his deal and it’s payback time. What I enjoyed the most was seeing Norman Osborn act so effectively and as a thorough leader for his gang of thugs. This series has something going on. Of course, the best part of this series was seeing Osborn convince the Sentry that he wasn’t crazy and that he heard no voices.

The artwork this issue is better than in the first issue. The weird posing has stopped and Deodato shows he can stage a fight scene. Now, if only his Nixon interpretation of Osborn could become the norm at Marvel Comics, that would be just sweet.

I skimmed through this when it came out at the shop, there's nothing particularity wrong with this but to the same degree there's nothing about this series that makes me want to buy it, there's plenty of other stuff to spend money on. To me its a cast i care nothing for doing things that aren't that interesting. It's been done before with a cast i at least cared whether they survived till the end. In a full market be sure you want this before buying, i personally didn't.
