Hi everyone,

I am taking a few minutes of your time to tell you how exciting is The Comic Book Bin right now. Some of you may be frequent readers, some of of you may be newcomers or maybe you just stumbled upon our website but let me assure you that we have something in store for everyone.

Our first major change was made recently when we introduced a mobile-friendly version of our Website. That's right, you can now read the Bin wherever you are on your mobile with our new easy to read interface. We are the first comic book website to offer you that. I believe so and we always pride ourselves when it comes to answer our readers needs. In this case, not only did we made our new articles available in this new format but also the thousands of reviews, news and features we have in our database. Killing time will never be this easy but be reassured that the classic version of the site is still and will always be available for those who prefer to read us in front of their computers

We are also on the verge of adopting a code of conduct for all of our writers. Basically, it means that everyone writing for us will have to follow some basic rules. We already had a writer's guide to help our reviewer be as objective as possible but now we are taking one more step toward professionalism. With this new code, we expect our staff to not only act objectively when writing but also to act in a responsible way when directly communicating with other people may it be industry professionals, other writers or our readers. Does this mean that we will shy away from controversial topics? No way! We will continue to make our opinions known even if they often go against what is generally admitted. The difference is that we will try to express them so they become a starting point for debate and not for criticism.

And at last but not the least, the entire team behind The Comic Book Bin is really psyched out and is ready to bring the best industry coverage they can. I have been at the Bin for almost two years now and I have never felt the team so motivated mainly due to our recent growth. Be on the lookout for Leroy's coverage of the entire industry, Philip's Phil's Bubble, Koppy, Andy F. and Zak's reviews of anything they can put their hand on, Beth's Religion and Comics column, Patrick O.'s From comic book to film feature articles, Andy D.'s Webcomics coverage and Hervé' spotlight articles. As for me, aside from trying to coordinate this merry band, I will take care of the Euro and Canuck sections.

If it's still not enough to get you excited, let's add to that some great interviews done at Toronto Fan Expo coming up, a very cool themed month next January that we will announce very soon and a few secret surprises...

I sincerely hope you will have a great time following us because we certainly have a great time doing what we do.
