Digital Manga Inc. Announces the Creation of Vampire Hunter D: The Manga

It is the year 12,090 A.D. The world has ended, ravaged in a firestorm of man's wars and madness. But from the wreckage a few humans have managed to survive. A few humans... and something else.

From the master horror author Hideyuki Kikuchi and Saiko Takaki, the illustrator hand chosen by Kikuchi-sensei, comes Vampire Hunter D: The Manga. Based off the original novels first published in 1983, D finally makes the jump from film and prose to an original manga. Having inspired several anime features and a hit Playstation 2 video game, the tale of the epic Hunter will continue in this revolutionary series.

The manga is currently in production and is expected to be released late 2007 or early 2008. For more details and information visit www.dmpbooks.com.
