This started off with a couple of interesting conversations. Bendis has a knack of making a significant point without preaching, I think. Both conversations dealt with aspects of morality and they got you thinking. Then the whole beast denial bit made me laugh. What I really liked though was the whole Storm/Angel conversation. It had such a natural flow to it. And I'm pretty intrigued to find out who the lady (has to be a lady, look at the shadow) is at the end!?!
I thought Bagleys art was nice. I wasn't sure about Angels wings in the first splash shot, but then again, I don't have a pair so how can I judge. A lot of the small things got me though. Like when Angel was landing and we just had a shot of his foot. It really looked like it was landing on the ground. Or Storms eyes when they're talking. I'm not sure that Angel looks 17 though and I have to say that Beast seems to be looking more and more just like a guy painted blue???
