EigoManga Ltd. and Devil's Due Publishing, Inc. have announced the release of Rumble Pak vol.1 an on-going, 64 pgs, B&W comic book series, beginning this December.

Previously released through EigoManga's own label, the on-going series will start with the latest line-up of original manga created by EigoManga STUDIOS and contributing artists.

EigoManga is proud to publicize the new volume of it’s comic book series though Devil’s Due; this partnership allows additional exposure to its readers and potential target market. “Devil’s Due is a strong brand, one of the largest and most respected in the industry.” states Austin Osueke, CEO and Publisher of EigoManga. “Since they’re handling all of the publishing operational aspects of Rumble Pak, this will allow us to focus all of our energy on the production end of it, such as developing and refining our original stories.”

So what is so special about Runmble Pak

Unlike its leading competitor (which EigoManga feels relies on following the “latest” anime trend and catering to the younger crowd), Rumble Pak’s on-going series line-up are composed of original and alternative stories, appealing to the older crowd of manga. “We’re just writing about what we want and what’s significant about our lives and our situations. The artists involved in the production, are very talented and are able to draw based on their past experiences”?says Osueke. “This gives us the freedom to write about whatever we want in a sophisticated way.”

“We're also different because our stories are bold and daring. We have the creative freedom and confidence to produce manga based on our standards... not on standards set by an artificial ‘US anime industry’. These are the qualities that distinguish us from the big guys and helps carve a name for our brand in the US manga industry.”

The new on-going series will be comprised of a new line-up of original manga stories written and produced by acclaimed television screenwriters and best-selling novelists. Among these contributors are best-selling novelist, Steve Anzactz as well as Jeremy Ray who was involved in the creative work for "The Matrix", "Animatrix", and “Final Fantasy” franchises. Rumble Pak also features talented newcomers like Natashia McGough who is on the writing team for the ABC’s re-make of the television series, Night Stalkers.

“It feels great having my work published in Rumble Pak is a fun, aesthetically cool comic book. God Drug is a very sci-fi, edgy comic book. I know it will fit well in Rumble Pak. I hope the readers will be visually pleased and stimulated as they read God Drug. There are many hidden messages about life and our purpose in it in God Drug. I hope the readers enjoy seeing our theories,” states, McGough.

Joshua Baylock, president of Devil’s Due, says “We're excited to be
bringing such a large offering of manga into the DDP fold. We've been looking for a way to offer a steady stream of manga to both comic book shops and bookstores, and found the perfect partner in EigoManga.”

“It is very important for American artists to produce their own manga because it creates a sense of identity. American artists can own their own portion of the many facets of manga,” says McGough.

Lastly, Baylock comments on the release of Rumble Pak by Devil’s Due, “I think it will be two-fold. For EigoManga, they will feel the company is amplifying its publishing and distribution capabilities. This should give retailers even more confidence in EigoManga product. For Devil's Due, they will see that we are finally moving into the manga market, although slowly, and adding even more diversity to our company line-up.”
