This is the final chapter in a three-part story that has Guy Gardner and a novice female Lantern tracking down the murderer of a fellow GL on a feudal planet. The solution to the mystery isn't that surprising but the tale is told effectively and with enough twists to keep the reader interested and enough drama to make the characters stand out. Despite its huge cast with numerous sub-plots, the creators have maintained the focus on the main story with just enough side-trips to remind us what the secondary characters are doing. The art is expertly crafted, allowing the emotions of even the strangest looking aliens shine through on paper. Some of the layouts however are a little too showy, as though the creators were trying to be as "imaginative" as possible, even if it sacrifices a little of the story-telling aspect.
