Psychology graduate student Neil Cohn was the featured profile and the cover of the home page of Tuft University's Web site the week of January 25 to January 31, 2009. The profile featured Cohn's grammar of the visual language, a studies related to the field of comic books, that Cohn has begun years ago as part of his thesis project.

Comic book scholarship, or sequential art studies is not a booming field. Very few individuals have questioned and investigated the structure hidden underneath comic books. It's interesting to see a major American university pay attention to such a small, but interesting field of research.
