The growing cold war between IO and Skywatch heats up, as both sides make plans for the day when they meet on the battlefield (actual or otherwise). But for now, it’s all on the down-low, as IO formulates a plan to digitally infiltrate Skywatch in search of evidence of treaty violations. And Skywatch? Well, apparently they don’t think much of the treaty itself anyway.

A centerpiece of the story is a flashback sequence featuring the aircraft from the old UFO TV series. The show was produced by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson of Thunderbirds fame. For those of us who grew up before Star Wars, it remains a cult favorite.

MEANWHILE… Angie Spica seems to have perfected a means of upgrading her weaponized suit, thanks to the technology of Jacob Marlowe. This enables it to literally become a part of her. And there may be more secrets to be revealed and players to find their position before the S hits the F.

This was a much better issue, as I feel some genuine narrative progress has been made. My biggest complaint with this series is its cast. Though everyone seems to have a specific role, I am unable to remember anyone month-to-month. A refresher course regarding who’s who and their relationships to others would be very helpful.

Rating: 7/10
