Rumours abound that Sony pictures have decided not to release a fourth movie in the current Spider-Man series, despite making mountain-loads of money at the box office from the previous three. Sam Riami pulled out of the movie citing creative reasons and the proposed deadline was also mentioned. It seems that he didn't feel that a film of the quality that he would like, could be dekivered in the time available. With him gone Tobey Naguire wasn't going to be far behind. So Sony Pictures are pressing the 'reboot' button and hope to have something ready for the summer of 2012.
There will be more news when we have it.
