Robert W. Hickey and Bill Nichols not only talk the talk as publisher and senior editor of Sketch Magazine. Both have brought their SkyStorm creations to AFTERBURN.

"Wanting to share many of the characters that I've created over at SkyStorm Studio. Bill Nichols and I created SKYSTORM ORIGINS with the knowledge that we would introduce characters that are in a shared universe and are on a collision course headed toward a major event." Robert W. Hickey explained. We share the ideas of creating comics with our work in Sketch Magazine but there’s truly nothing like making comics and having the printed issue in your hands."

Bill Nichols step in with "Robert and I have been doing comics together for years and it's still a fun thing as we keep the adventures going and the SkyStorm Universe growing with characters we love to tell about." Bill continues " With SkyStorm Origins it's time we got back to one of our favorite characters in the SkyStorm Universe, Warlace, and we’ve done that in a big as we pick up the threads of her last story and kick the action into gear into this new chapter!"

SkyStorm Origins spans the width and breadth of the SkyStorm universe as a massive quest for shards of the TimeStone ramps up toward the Paradox Wars. Stories of StormQuest, Hellgirl, the Darkness Chronicles, Tempered Steele, Warlace and others all tie into this epic journey!

SKYSTORM ORIGINS #1 has Merlin on the run in medieval times with Marta hot on his heels. He has something that she wants and she is willing to do whatever it takes to take it from him. StormQuest appears to stop her from achieving her goals. Emotions run high when they find Merlin aged far beyond when they fought against him in the events of the StormQuest Graphic Novel #1

SKYSTORM ORIGINS #1 - (Diamond Code #JAN150956) Full color, 32 pages, standard comic size, on-going series. Exclusive 1st issue wrap-around cover by Willie Peppers, Chris Dreier and Robert W. Hickey.
