The Superman Revenge Squad tracks Superman to the Fortress of Solitude where his faithful robotic caretaker of The Fortress, Kelex, works to discover a remedy to Superman's new disability. Fisticuffs ensue, and when things look their bleakest, a hero in need finds he has friends indeed...

Dan Jurgens continues his DC Comics Rebirth run by bringing his latest storyline "Revenge" to a climax as Superman faces seemingly unbeatable odds, yet finds a way to survive...or rather a way finds him. Zod and the bad guys comprising the Revenge Squad remain one-dimensional, but they are here more to pose a physical rather than philosophical challenge to the Man of Steel.

Artist Jack Herbert gets an assist from Jose Luis this issue. This is most likely because of the quick turnaround needed to produce the artwork for a bi-monthly title. There's little difference in the continuity of look from last issue though thankfully. The attention to detail that Herbert displays in each panel and with regards to the the costumes and action sequences.

Challenges abound for the Man of Steel currently in the pages of Action Comics, but sometimes a little help from one's friends comes in handy.
