Atrocitus has picked Ysmault has his lead Red Lantern and decides to help her exact further vengeance on the men that raped her and cut her wings. Which one will have the least mercy?

I don’t like Ysmault. I mean, being raped and losing your wings is a tough price to pay, but she was a bitch. She didn’t deserve the pain, but I don’t feel any pity for her. I also think adding more people to her initial revenge is over doing it. With that kind of logic, any man who’s ever looked at her the wrong way should also die. I have no clue if Milligan is a writer brilliant enough to make me hate the character or if it’s accidental. I know I don’t like Atrocitus either, but I can still read about him. One thing for sure, this story did not leave me indifferent and that’s a good thing.

Benes has been paired to a series that works for his strengths and will help him grow as an artist. His storytelling is already better. I suspect working with Milligan has something to do with it. His range is still limited, but it’s not annoying. Fans of pseudo Jim Lee art will enjoy.
