New York Comic Con 2015 Recap

New York Comic Con (Oct. 8-11, 2015) continues to be the largest comic convention on the East Coast, meeting fan expectations through its epic size and fun programming. The sheer number of vendors, guests and special surprises were overwhelming this year. Getting a multi-day pass is the only way to fully take advantage of everything the con has to offer.

Unlike at smaller cons, where publisher giveaways like pins and posters are plentiful, most freebies were gone within seconds, only going to a small fraction of guests. The much discussed Back to the Future II Pepsi-Perfect giveaway was a special treat for 1500 lucky fans.

As has been widely reported, Jared Leto and Mark Ruffalo took a page out of John Boyega's book and walked the convention floor in masks, enjoying the scene without drowning in a swarm of fans. They weren't the only ones in costume, as fans from around the world brought their A-game, engaging in the cosplay for which Comic Con has become famous.
