Sometimes dreams come true.

Kate Madison a Cambridge actress spotted a Lord of The Rings competition that challenged talented filmakers to produce a five minute movie. Kate Madison spent £8,000 of her own money (she worked as a temp to pay for living expenses), raised a further £17,000 after the trailer was shown. And had a 400 strong crew of technical people and actors who all helped to make the hour-long film which was shot in Epping Forest, Essex, and Stow, in Suffolk.

Using a few short paragraphs in a Tolkien book as inspiration, she shot a story about future king; Aragorn.

Speaking to the Daily telegraph, a British broadsheet newspaper, she said;
 "Aragorn is an extremely important person in Lord of the Rings. But we don't know much about him except he is a ranger and becomes king. People wanted to know where he came from and what his people were like before he becomes king.

"I used a couple of paragraphs in the appendices and we followed a timeline Tolkien had written at the back of the book so we had certain facts to follow, but the rest we had to make up.

In an amazing testiment to her and her fellow crew members five-year committment to getting the film finished, more than 500,000 people have now seen the full film since it was first posted on YouTube.
