The clock is just about to hit 12:30 am. There are less than 12 hours until what is about to undeniably be the biggest video game release in history. There is no doubt that tomorrow night, as Monday the 24 th turns into Tuesday the 25 th , there will be a mad rush over the whole of North America, complete with lineups, crazed fans and, most likely, the occasional push and shove.

There are well over 4,000 different retail stores that will have their doors open at 12:01 am to sell Halo 3 , and once they've purchased the game, some buyers are going to do nothing for the next few days, but sit and play. We've even overheard conversations of some people buying other various Halo themed products that the rest of the week will essentially be a “write off”.

Regardless of what you'll be doing tomorrow night though, you still have to wait the rest of those hours (hopefully with some sleep in between). So to occupy your thirst for anything Halo , here's an interview with one of the game's designers, talking about the challenges in making Halo 3 , its features and more.
