Hal Jordan enters the yellow power battery of the Sinestro Corps only to find that he is rejected and beaten summarily and then sent into a cell that drains the power of his proxy Green Lantern ring. As Korugarians captured by the Sinestro Corps are also thrown in cells, only Sinestro stand between his former allies and the people he swore to protect. But is it too late?

This was another good issue of Green Lantern with a cool twist. I didn’t expect the ending with all the captive Korugarians endowed with rings aiming them at Sinestro to destroy him. I don’t understand why Sinestro’s Green Lantern ring just wasn't removed from his arm when he was a captive of his former corps members. It felt like those old parts in movies and comics where villains gloat instead of just killing off the hero, giving the latter an opportunity to escape.

Doug Mannke works wonder here and it’s funny because one can feel see fear in the eyes of the Korugarians hedraws. Sinestro’s gaze also has the same scary quality. I like Alamy’s inks this issue. It’s not as clean as usual with thick layers of blacks, but it works in the context of the story with the cells covering and absorbing all light.
