Guy Gardner is framed for the murder of two fellow Green Lanterns so he flees to the living planet, Mogo, only to find evidence there that he may really be going nuts. Tension seems to be rearing its head among the rest of the greenteam as well with Salaak and Kilowogg disagreeing on how to handle Gardner. The Lantern Corps. is looking more like a police precinct or an army camp in this issue, with the expected conflicts between different units and commanders and personality clashes between individual Lanterns. Those who enjoy this kind of emphasis on group dynamics and office politics will like this version of the Corps. Those who long for the days when the Lanterns operated independently and only got together for the biggest, most serious threats, may feel angry over how they are being turned into mere foot soldiers. This issue also gives us a look at a different aspect of Guy Gardner, showing that he is not the blustering clown as some other writers have stereotyped him. The art in this issue however, seems a bit rushed. Too many dark shadows are thrown all over the book, even in scenes where clarity is needed. This gets only three stars due to the art.
